Ground-mounted, IP54, 25 kW peak draw. Built around standard Indian electrical safety devices (RCBO, MCB, CT, energy meter, 30 kA surge protection). No third-party certification dependency for the components inside.

What's inside the box.

Each pod accepts a standard pack with handle on top, slides in on guide rails, locks against the rear contactor for charge + CAN-bus comms. Status LED above each slot mirrors what is visible from the front when doors are closed.

Electrical safety

Standard Indian protection devices, fitted as standard.

Not optional add-ons. Every cabinet leaves the factory with these in place.

RCBO + MCB per slot

Residual-current breaker with overcurrent protection. Individual slot isolation prevents one faulty pack from tripping the cabinet.

CT + revenue-grade meter

Current transformer per slot, revenue-grade energy meter at the cabinet head. Real kWh data into TimescaleDB.

30 kA surge protection

Type 2 surge protective device at the cabinet input. Survives ordinary lightning-induced transients on Indian grids.

AC RCD 30 mA

Earth-leakage protection. Trips within milliseconds on a touch fault. Required by Indian wiring rules for public-access equipment.

IP54 enclosure

Dust-protected, splash-protected. Outdoor-rated. Survives Indian monsoons under a small canopy.

BMS telemetry every 5s

Voltage, current, SOC, SOH, cycle count, cell-level data. Streams over MQTT into the operator's tenant in real time.

AIS-156 / AIS-038 : formal type-approval is on the roadmap. Today we ship with full short-circuit + earth-leakage cutoff via standard RCBO + MCB stacks. Open ecosystem : the cabinet is battery-agnostic and works with any AIS-156-compliant Li-ion pack.
Warranty & service

12 months standard. 18 months under AMC. 7-year spares commitment.

Warranty band

12 months standard from date of invoice. Extends to 18 months on Annual Maintenance Contract. Above Okaya's published 7-15 months. Mid-market sweet spot.

7-year spares

Critical spares (slot controllers, ESP32 modules, contactors, touchscreens) stocked in Ahmedabad + Bangalore. Superseded parts ship at no additional cost.

Return-to-base default

Ship faulty unit to nearest service centre under standard warranty. Target turnaround 7 business days from receipt. On-site service available on AMC.
